How some animals may predict storm before it hits?

Animals like frogs may predict weather changes, an Indian Express report said, noting that croaking intensifies just before rainfall. Frogs respond to atmospheric pressure changes before a downpour, it said. Meanwhile cats sense storms as their whiskers detect tiny air-pressure shifts ahead of rains. Birds suddenly go silent before storm as they're highly sensitive to barometric pressure.
