Loan providers can’t access your CIBIL report without prior permission and notification. If you find any fake credit enquiries, you can file a complaint with the credit rating agency requesting removal. If they don’t, you can escalate it to the RBI’s ombudsman. If it’s not resolved in 30 days, you’re entitled to ₹100 per day as a fine.
