As per UIDAI, people can verify an Aadhaar card by scanning the QR code on the card. Any legitimate Aadhaar card, be it physical/downloaded, carries a QR code containing encrypted information like the name of the person, photograph, and DOB, Moneycontrol reported. When scanned through official UIDAI app, the details must match exactly with the printed details on the card.
