Glaucoma is a severe eye condition that damages your optic nerve, completely making you blind. Experts say the condition is typically caused by high pressure inside your eyes, for which type 2 diabetes is a big risk factor. Diabetic retinopathy increases the risk of glaucoma as high blood sugar causes an increase in fibronectin which blocks eye drainage.

Crude oil prices drop to lowest levels in 4 years

Crude oil prices fell to their lowest levels since 2021 after China retaliated with fresh tariffs in response to US President Donald Trump's levies. Brent futures dived by $5.72 to $64.62 a barrel and US West Texas Intermediate crude futures lost $5.90 to $61.05. Brent crude, the global benchmark, has plunged more than 10% in just two days.

US revises India tariff back to 26% from 27%

US has revised the reciprocal tariff on Indian imports back to 26% from 27%, according to a White House document. India's tariff rate was on Friday revised to 26% in the latest White House annex listing future reciprocal tariff rates. In the annex document, India's rate was on Thursday listed at 27%, rather than the 26% shown previously by Trump.
