JP Nadda was elected BJP’s national president in 2020 and although his tenure ended last year, it was extended in view of 2024 General elections. Under him, BJP contested as many as 33 elections, winning 19 of them, a Moneycontrol report said. While BJP won in Assam, Chhattisgarh, MP and Rajasthan under his tenure, it lost in Delhi, West Bengal.
