Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla will conduct seven scientific experiments during his 14-day stay on the ISS. These include studies on crop growth and nutrition, cyanobacteria, microalgae and muscle loss in microgravity. This will help ISRO understand the long-term effects of space travel and develop technologies for sustained human presence in space, thereby aiding the Gaganyaan mission.
