Launching the National Automobile Scrappage Policy, PM Narendra Modi said a certificate will be given on scrapping of the old car, which will ensure that an individual doesn't have to pay registration fees for a new car. The individual will get a discount on road tax. "A person will save money on maintenance cost, repair cost," he added.
