Himachal families urge govt to fast-track compassionate appointments

Around 250-300 applicants gathered at Himachal Pradesh Secretariat during a Cabinet meeting, demanding clearance of 2,500-3,000 pending compassionate appointment cases. They sought a uniform ₹3 lakh income ceiling for rejected applicants and faster processing of 2025-screened candidates. Association warned 120+ applicants have already crossed age 45, risking permanent exclusion.
