Himachal Governor calls for equal eye care in remote areas

Himachal Pradesh Governor Kavinder Gupta, speaking at the 38th NZOS annual conference in Palampur, stressed that quality eye care must reach remote areas despite geographical challenges. He highlighted Central schemes like Ayushman Bharat and noted the addition of 320 PG medical seats backed by ₹415 crore to boost specialist availability in the state.
