HP High Court seeks clarity on 139 unadvertised constable posts

The Himachal Pradesh High Court has sought clarification from the state government and HPPSC over inclusion of 139 unadvertised posts in female police constable recruitment. Petitioner Priyanka Sharma alleged irregularities after lower-scoring candidates were called for verification over her 63.50 EWS marks. Next hearing is scheduled for October 13, 2026.
