Hubballi-Dharwad liquor ban in 5 phases for Ganeshotsav

Karnataka has imposed a liquor ban in Hubballi-Dharwad in five phases during Ganeshotsav. The sale, transport and consumption of alcohol will be prohibited during specified periods between September 13 and 26. The restrictions have been imposed as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order during Ganesh idol installations, immersion processions and other festival-related events.
