A giant 'fireball' was spotted on the night of September 14 across Scotland, clips of which were shared on social media. "There's a great deal of speculation...The evidence we have seen so far indicates space junk," tweeted UK Meteor Network. It is likely to have been space junk from Elon Musk's satellite programme, according to astronomers examining it.

New Zealand defeated South Africa by 50 runs to win the semi-final.
