Indian-American director Sami Khan, whose film 'St Louis Superman' earned an Oscar nomination in the Documentary Short Subject category, reacted to the news on Twitter. He wrote, "Yes, I was nominated for an Academy Award but did you know we also successfully potty-trained our toddler?! Huge week!" The film has been co-directed by Smriti Mundhra, another Indian-American director.
