Humans behind extinction of giant mammals in last 50000 yrs: Study

Human activity, not climate change, led to decline in population of large mammals, with some going extinct, in last 50,000 years, according to a study. Humans built weapons and 'perfected art' of killing mammals over time when they migrated out of Africa 1,00,000 years ago. At least 161 species, including reptiles and birds, were driven to extinction during this period.
