AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria on Wednesday said the transmission of H5N1 virus "from birds to humans is rare" and sustained human-to-human transmission of the virus "has not yet been established". "Therefore, there is no need to panic," he added. This comes after a Haryana boy became the first person to die of the virus this year in India.
