Anil Lokhande, 53, was fatally struck on his head with an axe by his 27-year-old wife, Radhika, while he was sleeping on his bed. The incident occurred around 12:30 am in Kupwad tehsil, Sangli. The incident followed a heated argument between the two where the husband insisted on consummating their 15-day-old marriage.
