Heavy rain and strong winds in Karnataka’s Haveri district blew away a hut belonging to a nomadic family, leaving a mother and her children distressed. Rainwater entered nearby shelters, damaging belongings and disrupting daily life. Several areas also witnessed uprooted trees and power outages due to the severe weather conditions, causing hardship for vulnerable families living in temporary huts.
