The Principality of Hutt River (PHR), a micronation founded in 1970, will be ceded back to the Commonwealth of Australia due to falling income from tourism amid COVID-19 pandemic, its leader Prince Graeme Casley said. PHR was never recognised by Australia but became a tourist attraction that printed its own currency, the Hutt River Dollar, and stamped visitors' passports.
