Doctors at KIMS Kondapur Hospital, Hyderabad, successfully treated a rare pancreatic tumor in a 55-year-old woman from Mauritius. Doctors in Mauritius referred her to Hyderabad for advanced treatment, the hospital said in a release. Medical investigations revealed that she was suffering from insulinoma, a rare pancreatic tumor that produces excess insulin, leading to severe hypoglycaemia.
