Ramachandra, after seeing hundreds of trees being cut on highway to widen roads, left his job. He used ancient method called tree translocation and has saved over 1,50,000 trees in the last 10 years. In tree translocation, trees are uprooted and replanted instead of being cut down. "We need more people to step up and find solutions," he stated.
