After the IMD issued an orange alert and predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places in Hyderabad till October 21, the Hyderabad district administration has advised the public to stay safe indoors and postpone travel plans if possible. The officials have also advised the public to avoid contact with electrical appliances and switch panel boards.
