Safety measures on the race track around Tank Bund will be improved by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) ahead of the February 2023 Formula E race. The new track is being tested in line with the specifications mentioned by the governing body FIA. Some safety incidents and accidents were reported during the recently concluded Indian Racing League (IRL).
