In Hyderabad, a team of urologists at the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU) successfully removed 418 kidney stones from a patient with 27% kidney function using Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL), a minimally invasive procedure. Led by Dr. K Purna Chandra Reddy, the surgery showcased advanced techniques and technology, offering hope to kidney stone patients worldwide.
