Hyderabad Police have booked several motorists over faulty registration of number plates, no number plates or tampering them by covering up or erasing a number. In a special drive, the police are checking at various traffic junctions and lodging complaints at local police stations. Cases against motorists are being booked under the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicle Act.
