The Hyderabad Police issued an advisory urging people to avoid non-essential travel after the meteorological department sounded red alert warning in the city until Tuesday. The police also asked people to watch the weather and rain forecasts before venturing out. "All educational institutions have been closed by the government for three days," the advisory issued on Sunday stated.
