Hyderabad witnessed one of its heaviest rainfalls of the season as intense monsoon showers lashed several parts of the city. Waterlogging, traffic congestion and strong winds disrupted normal life, especially in Cyberabad, Gachibowli and Hitech City. The IMD has issued a heavy rainfall alert for four Telangana districts and warned of more thunderstorms and rain in the coming days.
