Actress Bhumi Pednekar spoke about the rise in "hyper masculine" films and how it affects demographics within and surrounding the film industry. She explained, "I'm not the audience for [hyper masculine films], and neither are many other women, which means a large section of viewers [have] been alienated, and women are pushed out of creative and technical spaces."
