At least four major suppliers of Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Corp employed child labour at Alabama factories in recent years, a Reuters investigation found. Korean manufacturers Hwashin America Corp and Ajin Industrial Co employed minors at their plants in Greenville and Cusseta, Alabama, Reuters reported. Hyundai said it will investigate the allegations as part of ongoing review of operations.
