Designer Saisha Shinde has revealed that she was not allowed to donate blood as a transgender woman since transgender and gay people fall in the category of high-risk persons. "Apparently we come in [the] category of carrying STDs. The irony is two years ago I donated blood but now...I cannot...As if my blood has changed...It is beyond discriminatory," Saisha said.
