I didn't write qawwalis for Lord Ram: 'Adipurush' lyricist Manoj on 'Ramayana' comparisons

Amid comparisons with 'Ramayana', 'Adipurush' lyricist Manoj Muntashir defended his work after a report said the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer is repeating his 'kaarnama'. Recalling his previous mistakes, Manoj said, "I've apologised to Lord Ram's devotees...but don't challenge my songs." "I didn't write nursery rhymes for Lord Ram, nor qawwalis," he said while referring to 'Ramayana' song 'Mangal Rang'.
