Ranu Mondal's daughter has said she didn't know her mother used to sing at the railway station as she couldn't visit her regularly. Talking about criticism for not taking care of her mother, she added, "I'm a single mother looking after my younger son...I've my own struggles. Still, I try to look after her as much as I can."
