OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said he doesn't "like the idea of the government picking the customers" after the company limited access to its new AI models at the US government's request. It released the models to only "trusted partners". Altman said a "preview period for extended red teaming is not a bad idea", but added the current process isn't "optimal".
