On being asked if he was scared of losing what he had achieved, Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos in an interview in 1999 said, "I know we can lose it all. It's not a fear, it's a fact". Further, talking about the competition faced by Amazon, Bezos said that he used to tell the employees to "wake up petrified and scared".
