After at least seven people died in the Indore water contamination incident, Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said he was "confused about the actual death toll". Vijayvargiya stated, "As per government data, four people have died, but when I visited the hospital and the affected area, I learnt that eight deaths have occurred," adding he'll get the death toll verified.
