CarDekho CEO Amit Jain said he did several things, including making astrology sites and selling mobile phones online, before CarDekho became popular. Stating that most ideas fail, Jain added that he has done at least 10 startups. He further said it's easier to work on an idea for the long term when it emerges out of a personal need.
