The Income Tax Department cleared a large number of high-value refunds over the last two days, Moneycontrol reported, citing tax professionals. "Several clients have received substantial refunds, including amounts of ₹15-17 lakh," CA Himank Singla said. However, experts said many high-value refunds are still pending and are expected to be cleared in subsequent processing cycles.
