Income Tax Department has collaborated with DRDO and CBDT and launched Project Satya, an AI-driven tax enforcement portal, NDTV Profit reported. The portal allows investigators to analyse call data records, apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, and digital footprints with financial trails to expose tax evaders. It is currently being used by department's Bengaluru unit and will soon launch nationwide.
