Actress and politician Hema Malini condoled the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle. While crediting Asha for making songs, which featured Hema, popular with her unique voice, she wrote, "It's especially hard for me as I've an emotional connect with Asha ji." Hema said she had a special relationship with both Asha and her late sister Lata Mangeshkar.
