I was a nerdy kid, never a cool kid: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said on the podcast he was "a very nerdy kid" who "wasn't good at sports" when that was "the cool thing". "I always had like a lot of friends...but I was never like a cool kid," he said. Not being cool "slightly bothered" him, but he had his computer and friends and "a wonderful childhood".
