After losing his world chess champion title to Indian Grandmaster Gukesh D, China's Ding Liren said, "I was totally in shock when I realised I made a blunder." Ding made a blunder when the Game 14 of the World Chess Championship 2024 was headed towards a likely draw. Gukesh won the championship, becoming the youngest-ever world chess champion at 18.
