Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant has clarified his "unemployed youngsters are like cockroaches" remark, stating he was "misquoted" and that "every youth of India inspires" him. The CJI stated that he had criticised people who have entered the legal profession and media with the help of fake degrees. "It's totally baseless to suggest...I criticised the youth," he added.
