Justice Yashwant Varma told parliamentary panel he wasn't present when fire broke out at his residence and stated no cash was recovered from scene. Notably, Justice Varma was repatriated from Delhi High Court to Allahabad High Court after burnt cash was found at his residence last year. A committee formed by Supreme Court had found him guilty of misconduct.
