Bank of Baroda's former Chief Digital Officer (CDO) Akhil Handa said he had resigned and was not terminated. "My exit was a personal decision," Handa said. Earlier on Saturday, the bank's CEO Debadatta Chand said Handa was terminated over the wrongful onboarding of new customers to BoB World app. Handa said the CEO's narrative was "a deflection of operational lapses".
