HDFC Bank's former CEO Aditya Puri, who retired as longest-serving CEO of an Indian bank after 26 years, told BloombergQuint that he's indebted to his wife Anita Puri for saving his life. Talking about his cardiac surgery in February 2016, 70-year-old Puri said, "I wouldn't be alive today had my wife not taken me to the hospital within 20 minutes."
