Mawya Sudan has become the first woman fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force (IAF) from Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. Sudan was first commissioned into the IAF as a Flying Officer and is the 12th woman officer to be inducted as a fighter pilot. "Now she's not just our daughter but the daughter of this country," her father said.
