Indian Air Force officers violated regulations by claiming allowances after visiting foreign countries, causing a loss of more than ₹82 lakh, the Comptroller and Auditor General reported. Military officers can claim leave travel concessions (LTC) only for visits within India when they are on leave, but 49 officers availed LTC while visiting foreign countries between 2010 and 2015, it added.
