The Supreme Court has ruled that Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel require prior permission to take civil jobs. The court stated that IAF personnel do not possess an "unqualified right" to leave the service at their will to join civil jobs. The plea was filed by Corporal Nakhat Singh demanding an NOC after being selected as an Assistant Professor.
