Centre has granted sanction to prosecute IAS officer Arvind Kumar in the Formula E race irregularities case, a step that clears the way for the Telangana ACB to file its chargesheet. DoPT reportedly conveyed its approval to the state government after a request made over three months ago. As an All-India Services officer, Arvind Kumar’s prosecution requires mandatory central clearance.
