Over 1.38 lakh pregnant women were provided free ultrasound scans under IAS Officer Dibyajyoti Parida's 2023 Nirikhyana initiative in Odisha's Ganjam district. Under this, 42 government and private clinics offered three free scans. First conceptualised in 2022, it aims to address gap in access to essential diagnostic services, especially ultrasounds for pregnant women, in remote villages.
