IAS officer Smita Sabharwal has been transferred days after she posted an AI-generated Studio Ghibli style image, viewed as critical of Telangana government's deforestation drive at the Kancha Gachibowli forest area near University of Hyderabad. The image depicts JCBs lined up at the site. Sabharwal's shift was part of the transfers and postings order pertaining to 20 IAS officers.
